YPC is in a position to control casting quality to the most exacting design standards, complemented by a well-equipped & Aerospace- approved laboratory. Our well-qualified, professional staff offer chemical analysis, mechanical testing, metallurgical investigations and on-going support and advice to our customers, meeting the expectations of our demanding industrial partners.
Non-destructive testing, chemical analysis, metallography, mechanical testing, and dimensional analysis can all be completed on-site to suit each customer’s needs.
Inspection and Laboratory
Our skilled inspection team assess components using manual and CNC-controlled CMM machines with the latest 3D software, as well as a shadowgraph and an array of standard measuring equipment. Whilst still able to use prismatic technology, our CMM can be programmed from customer-made or in-house built 3D models.
Non-destructive Testing
We have a Nadcap approved on-site facility with capability to carry out Fluorescent Penetrant and X-Ray Inspection suitable for Aerospace and other demanding applications.
