Yeovil Precision Castings Limited is one of the most experienced foundries in the precision casting industry, manufacturing high quality investment castings in both air and vacuum. We cast a wide range of metals, including low alloy & stainless steels, high corrosion-resistant superduplex stainless, copper-based engineering alloys, and both Nickel and Cobalt base superalloys.

Yeovil Precision Castings supplies a wide customer base, complimenting a variety of applications including Aerospace, medical implants and instruments, land-based power generation (including industrial gas turbine (IGT) engines), vehicle components, harnessing & safety locking equipment, railway rolling-stock assemblies and general engineering. Our customer base includes many blue chip companies, as evidenced by our approvals.
Capacity and Capability
Our air and vacuum castings range in weight from a few grams up to 18 kilograms. Part-sizes can be anything from a few millimetres up to 16” (400 mm) diameter. Our furnaces have melting capacities of up to 350 kg, with mould weights of between 10 and 30 kg. Our on-site capabilities include: Machining, Assembly, Nadcap approved Non-Destructive Testing ( FPI & X-ray ) activity, an extensive metrology section and a fully equipped Laboratory capable of all aspects of material testing. We manage a network of high-quality contractors who provide additional operations, including heat- and surface- treatments, as required.
